Your data, in plain words

We keep what your Luminaries need to work for you: the brand materials you share with us, such as your guidelines, product details, images, and documents; what we read from the stores and accounts you choose to connect; the work your Luminaries make for you; and your account details, such as your name, email address, and billing history.

From your store, we ask only for what the work needs. We never ask for or keep your customers’ street addresses or postal codes.

You, and the people you invite to your Maison. Nothing of yours is ever shown to another brand.

A small, named group of our own people can open your account when you ask for help or when something needs fixing. They are bound by confidentiality, and any change they make is recorded.

• We never store your password itself, only a scrambled form of it that cannot be turned back into the original.
• The access you grant to your other accounts, such as your Shopify store, is kept locked, and opened only at the moment your Luminaries use it.
• Everything you send us, and everything we send you, travels over a secure, encrypted connection.
• Each brand’s information is kept apart from every other brand’s.
• After several wrong passwords in a row, your sign-in pauses for a while, so no one can keep guessing.
• Your Maison is backed up every night, so a mistake or an outage does not cost you your work.

You can disconnect any store or account from your settings at any time, and the access you granted us is deleted straight away.

When you close your account, your Maison and everything in it is permanently deleted 30 days later. The last backup copies follow 14 days after that. We keep only what the law requires of us, such as billing records.

If you would like a copy of your work before you go, ask us and we will send it to you.
